OPEN CALL FOR ART

The Call for Art now open, closes May 1st, 2025 at 5pm.

We will have a small gallery on the second floor of the Majestic Ventura Theater, featuring artwork available for purchase by attendees. Artists do not need to be present at the Expo to showcase their work.

All submissions must align with the theme of the Expo—erotic, nude, kink, BDSM, and fetish-inspired art.

Submission Guidelines

PLEASE REVIEW THESE GUIDELINES BEFORE APPLYING TO EXHIBIT.

No submissions or changes to submissions will be accepted after May 1st.

If your work is accepted, you’ll receive a reply via email with registration details and a formal agreement. APPROVALS ARE USUALLY SENT WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR SPAM/PROMOTIONS FOLDERS IN YOUR EMAIL.

Open to: Local, regional, national & international artists are welcome to submit.
Eligibility: All artists 21 years old and over are encouraged to submit works of erotic art in any medium with the exception of film. We cannot accomodate film at this time.
State/City: Ventura, California
Entry Fee: $40 for a maximum of 2 entries.
Size Restrictions: Maximum 24" on longest side
Work drop-off: May 19th & 20th
Shipped work: Must arrive no later than by May 20th
The artist is responsible for insuring and properly packaging their work. A return shipping label must be pre-purchased and provided to us.
Work pick-up: May 27th

  • Unfinished art or “works in progress” will not be accepted.

  • Seaside Events LLC will retain a 25% commission on any sold work in the upstairs gallery.

  • Images must be included with all submissions.

  • Images must be submitted in JPEG format, up to three images per piece of art.

  • Any image with a watermark that obscures the image or identifies the artist will be rejected.

  • Signatures on original works of art such as paintings and illustrations are allowed.

  • Artists must provide a price for each submitted piece.

  • Any models depicted in photographs must be at least 18 years old at the time the photograph or image was made. A Model Release form must be delivered with the art or artwork will not be accepted. Seaside Events LLC will keep this information on file to comply with United States Code, Title 18, Section 2257.

  • The Expo reserves the right to refuse to hang any piece of art delivered for any reason at any time.
